Is it the same tactic for the launch of Windows vista? Also in internet there is a buzz that October is loudly said by Microsoft. It is to be noted that the 3 years gap is not applicable for Windows Vista and Windows 7 releases.
The launch date is not exactly applicable for customer some times because there is a difference and lead time gap between release date, master date, manufacturer’s license and customers/public consumers’ release.
So milestone could be the beta release of Microsoft Windows 8 which might happen sometime in February 2012.
